Privacy Policy

GMPL 360 is a workforce platform published by Global Marks Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). It has two parts that share one account and one database: the GMPL 360 Android application, and the web dashboard at gmpl360.cloud. This policy covers both. Where something applies to only one of them, it is said so.

GMPL 360 is used only by our own employees and contracted field staff — Brand Ambassadors, TSEs, Area and Regional Managers, and HR and administrative staff. Accounts are created for staff as part of their employment; GMPL 360 is not intended for, and is not offered to, the general public.

This policy explains exactly what we collect, why it is collected, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how you can have it removed.

1. Information we collect

Identity and contact details

Full name, father / Husband name, date of birth, email address, phone number, home address, and a profile photograph. These are entered by you when your account is created, or by our administrators on your behalf.

Government identification

Your CNIC number and photographs of the front and back of your CNIC. Pakistani employment and payroll law requires us to hold verified identity records for every person on the payroll. These images are visible only to our HR and administrative staff.

Financial information

Bank name, account title, account number and IBAN. This is used for one purpose only — paying your salary and incentives. We never take payments from you, and the app contains no payment processing of any kind.

Location

Precise GPS location is recorded when you check in and check out of a shift, and at intervals while your shift is running. Location is used to confirm that attendance was marked at the store you are assigned to, and to record field visits. Check-in from the web dashboard also records the location reported by your browser; only the Android app can read location while it is closed (see section 2).

Photographs you submit

Photographs of shelves, store sales reports and sales slips that you attach to your daily entries and to your monthly salary form.

Work records

Attendance, shift timings, leave and resignation requests, sales entries, stock and shelf-pricing entries, targets, and the salary figures calculated from them.

Technical data

A session cookie that keeps you signed in (in the app and in your browser), and the app version. Neither the app nor the web dashboard contains advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, or third-party profiling of any kind.

2. Background location — what it does and why

Android application only — the web dashboard cannot do this.

Field staff keep their phones in a pocket or bag while working, and Android stops a normal app from reading location once the screen is off. Without background access a shift that was correctly started would show gaps, and staff would be marked absent for time they actually worked.

When it runs: only during your working shift, from the moment you check in until you check out. It does not run before your shift, after check-out, on your weekly off, or on approved leave.

What is stored: the coordinates and the time. We do not build a continuous movement history outside shift hours, and we do not track your personal life.

The app asks for this permission separately, after explaining it on screen, and you can refuse it or withdraw it at any time in Android Settings > Apps > GMPL 360 > Permissions. Refusing it does not lock you out — you can still use the app, but attendance may need to be corrected manually by your supervisor.

3. How we use the information

• To verify and record attendance, shift hours, leave and weekly offs.
• To record sales, stock and shelf pricing, and to compare them against targets.
• To calculate salary and incentives, and to transfer them to your bank account.
• To let your TSE, Area Manager and HR review and approve your entries.
• To send you in-app notifications about approvals, rejections and reminders.
• To meet employment, tax and payroll record-keeping obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with data brokers.

4. Who can see your information

Within the company, access follows your reporting line: your TSE and Area Manager can see the records of the staff assigned to them, and HR and administrators can see all staff records. One employee cannot see another employee’s bank details or CNIC.

Outside the company, information is shared only with: Google Play Services, which supplies the location reading to the app on your device; and our hosting provider, which stores the data on servers we control. We also disclose information where the law or a competent authority requires it.

5. How long we keep it

While you are employed, your records remain active. When you leave, your account is deactivated immediately and the account is deleted after six months. Attendance, sales and payroll records are kept for the period required by Pakistani employment and tax law, after which they are deleted.

6. Security

All traffic between the app, the web dashboard and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes and cannot be read by anyone, including our own staff. In the Android app, saved sign-in details are held in Android’s encrypted storage on your device, and the app is excluded from Android cloud backup so your session cannot be restored onto another phone.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, withdraw a permission at any time in Android Settings, or ask us to delete your account. Write to globalmarksdeveloper@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

GMPL 360 is an employment platform. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how GMPL 360 handles your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced inside the app and on the dashboard.
